Established in 1948, the Shop was originally in a store front on Broad Street in downtown Columbus. Twenty-five years after its beginning, the shop moved to the newly renovated basement of St. Joseph's Cathedral. The downtown store is now located at 200 East Gay Street in Columbus, Ohio. With the continued growth of the capital city of Ohio, a smaller satellite store was opened on the far east side in 1995 at 5277 Broad Street (St. Therese's Retreat Center). Its location near the outerbelt provides easy access and ample parking.
