Lyle Dudgeon started the original company known as Central Ohio Insulation in Newark, Ohio in 1971. It was a one-man, one-truck operation. In 1975, Brent Dudgeon joined his brother, and the brothers worked together for five years. Then, in 1980, Brent and his wife, Linda, moved to Utica and began what is now North Central Insulation on their dining room table. In the 1930??™s, Hamilton and Parker knew their company, Hamilton-Parker Fuel and Supply, was about to fold under the pressure of the Great Depression. In 1933, it was purchased by I.H. Schlezinger and Sons Company. To keep the same customer base, the company??™s name remained the same. Alvin Lewin worked as a laborer in a foundry in Dayton and was married to I.H.
