| Trudo's Total Martial Arts The Ship Pal Gi system arrived with a half Korean - half Chinese traveling monk whose knowledge originated from the system of Tae Han Ship Pal Gi. Only 8% of the Kung Fu practiced in Korea is Ship Pal Gi. ( The rest is Pa Kua and Tong Nang). Mr. John Rausch and wife Christina Rausch are students of Master Choi Young Pyo, one of a limited few instructors still teaching the Praying Mantis style of the Ship Pal Gi system. Ship Pal Gi can trace its roots to the Seven Star Praying Mantis System. Seven Star Praying Mantis is a northern Shaolin style, hence its dominant use of Praying Mantis techniques. The form Maha Kwan (Plum flower Fist) is the base form of Seven Star Mantis. The Tae Han Ship Pal Gi system is recognized by the Korean Ki Do Organization.
