| Worthington Libraries Founded in 1803 as a subscription library serving 100 people on the Ohio frontier, Worthington Libraries has grown to become a nationally-recognized library system and one of busiest libraries in the state, ranking only behind the eight metropolitan library systems in annual circulation. Worthington Libraries provides service to a diverse population of nearly 60,000 residents in the Worthington School District out of three state-of-the-art facilities: Old Worthington Library, Northwest Library and Worthington Park Library. | Grandview Heights Public Library On January 11, 1923, the Grandview Heights Board of Education approved a plan for the establishment of a public library in Grandview Heights. In June 1924, the Grandview Heights Public Library opened its doors in a room in the Grandview Heights High School. After moving to four different rented sites on First Avenue, the Grandview Library moved to the present location, 1685 West First Avenue, in September, 1936. | Bexley Public Library Formed in 1924, Bexley Public Library was originally located in Bexley High School, and first opened to the public on March 3, 1925. Members of the original Board of Trustees were Mrs. Hugh Bone, Mr. H. C. Dieterich, Mrs. Simon Lazarus, Dr. C. V. Sheatsley, Dr. Sidney Sweet, Mr. E. P. Tice, and Mrs. C. B. Watson. In November 1927, Bexley voters approved a bond issue to yield $68,000 for building and equipping a new library, to be built at 2411 E. Main St. The architects O. C. Miller and R. R.
